In the afternoon, embark on a scenic excursion to Frascati, just 30 minutes from Rome, known for its charming countryside and wine tradition. Visit a historic winery, where you will enjoy a tasting of local white wines paired with light regional snacks. After this delightful experience, return to Rome. Enjoy a scenic journey of approximately three hours through the rolling Tuscan hills arriving in the afternoon. Then you will visit a renowned winery in either Montepulciano celebrated for its exceptional red wine; Vino Nobile. Savor a guided wine tasting and discover the region’s rich winemaking heritage. Later, check in at a charming countryside agriturismo or relais, offering an authentic Tuscan experience. In Pienza, known for its Renaissance architecture, enjoy a cheese tasting featuring the famous Pecorino di Pienza. Then, continue to Bagno Vignoni, a unique village built around ancient thermal springs. After breakfast, you will depart for the heart of the Chianti Classico region, famous for its stunning landscapes and world-renowned wines. This area is celebrated for its Sangiovese-based Chianti Classico wines, known for their vibrant acidity, cherry notes, and elegant tannins. You will visit 02 to 03 boutique wineries, where passionate producers will guide you through traditional winemaking techniques passed down through generations. Learn how the unique terroir the combination of soil, climate and altitude shapes each vintage’s distinctive character. Enjoy tastings of a range of Chianti Classico wines, from young and fresh to aged Riserva, perhaps even the exclusive Gran Selezione. After breakfast, begin your journey north to Mestre with a scenic drive of approximately four hours, including a memorable stop in Modena. Visit a traditional acetaia to learn about and taste DOP-certified balsamic vinegar, followed by a Lambrusco wine tasting. Enjoy a light lunch featuring regional specialties such as Parmigiano Reggiano and local cured meats. Continue to Mestre and check in at your hotel, ideally located for convenient access to Venice, while providing the comfort and ease of staying on the mainland.
