The farm includes 230 acres of grassland, 120 acres of woodland, and 100 acres of tillage. This morning, depart for Killarney with a unique stop near Macroom to visit Ireland’s only milking water buffalo farm, located in Cill na Martra. Spread across 150 acres, the farm is home to over 200 buffalo, with more than 75 milking year-round to produce fresh mozzarella cheese – a rare delicacy supplied to top restaurants and gourmet retailers across the country. Continue your scenic journey across the Cork and Kerry Mountains, passing through the charming villages of Ballyvourney and Ballymakeery en route to Killarney. In the afternoon, visit Muckross House and Gardens, a magnificent Victorian estate nestled within Killarney National Park. After the visit, enjoy some free time to relax or explore the town.

Depart Killarney and travel north toward Westport, with a stop in the charming village of Adare, famed for its quaint thatched cottages and colorful facades. Continue to the awe-inspiring Cliffs of Moher, rising 214 meters (702 feet) above the Atlantic and stretching for 8 kilometers along Ireland’s west coast. Begin with a visit to the Fernville Connemara Pony Stud, a family-run farm located in Moycullen, County Galway. This morning, set out on a guided walking tour of Derry, a city rich in history and known for its well-preserved 17th-century walls. Learn about its political, cultural, and architectural heritage as you stroll through its historic core. Later, travel along the scenic Antrim coast to Armoy, near the Giant’s Causeway, to visit Anne Morrison’s farm. After lunch with the Morrison family, explore their 100-hectare mixed farm, mostly situated in a less-favoured rural area. With 55 hectares owned and 45 rented under the “Conacre” system, the farm relies on EU Single Farm Payments and participates in the NI Beef Quality Initiative and Countryside Management Scheme. Key enterprises include pedigree Belgian Blue and Hereford herds, as well as a commercial suckler herd finished on-site for supermarket chains. This morning, depart Belfast and begin your journey south toward Dublin. Just outside the city, visit a suckler cow farm participating in Northern Ireland’s agricultural research and innovation programs. Learn about breeding strategies, herd management, and the challenges faced by producers in this region. Cross the invisible border into the Republic of Ireland to visit a small feedlot operation located just south of the border. This unit finishes between 600–700 cattle annually, primarily heifers destined for the Italian market. Producing a combination of grass and maize silage, the farm supplements with large volumes of homegrown wheat and barley, achieving excellent carcass quality and efficient weight gains. Continue onward to Dublin.

This morning, enjoy a panoramic city tour of Dublin, showcasing the capital’s rich heritage, elegant Georgian architecture, and vibrant culture. Visit Trinity College, home to the world-famous Book of Kells. Walk through the cobbled paths of this historic university and explore the magnificent Old Library, which houses Ireland’s most treasured medieval manuscript. Next, step inside Christchurch Cathedral, Dublin’s spiritual heart and one of the city’s oldest and most important buildings. Experience the serenity of this sacred space while discovering centuries of religious history and tradition.
